As well as supplying the finished product, we are also able to supply the moulds, manufactured by the most reliable Italian mould-makers, plus 2D and 3D design and engineering support.
Commonly EXSTO works with the following compounds, although other polymers can be developed for special requests, such as compounds in compliance of FIAT and DBL norms:
FKM, EPDM, NBR, NR, SBR, HNBR, Silicone, Neoprene, Epichloridrine, Vamac, Fluorosilicone, Polyurethanes.
Vamac compounds are fire-resistant, non-conductor, and low class in fumes emission (class 0).
EXSTO Italia employs the most popular rubber molding techniques, such as compression moulding, capillary injection molding, injection-compression molding and its presses are equipped with vacuum systems.
We built an A/C facility where we stock rubber compounds in a controlled environment: the rubber compounds we outsource are 100% tested before use according to several parameters like the hardness, elongation, tear, rheometric curve, …
We can also provide certificates of compliance with RoHs and REACH norms of our rubber compounds, or to different norms if required.
FKM Compound
Neoprene Compound
EXSTO Italia is specialised in rubber coating of metal rollers, with diameter from mm 10 to mm 1500, and up to 4000 mm long with any rubber compound.
Upon request, we can also supply the metal hub oft he roller (complete supply).
EXSTO Italia is specialised in the production and renovation (re-coating) of rubber coated wheels for any industry.
Rubber bellows are usually employed as protections for parts in motion (such as pneumatic or mechanical cilinders) or for still parts. The applications of rubber bellows are countless.
Rubber diaphragms are flexible and airtight components which are employed to divide two chambers with variable volume and pressure.
EXSTO Italia, with its wide range of more than 50 compression and injection machines, produces rubber gaskets according to the customer’s drawing fro a variety of applications.
EXSTO Italia disposes of a wide selection of FKM ( Viton ) compounds, which can be used for compression and injection moulding, to manufacture extremely different components.
According to the client’s drawing, we can manufacture articles from 0.50 grams to several kilos, in a range of colours (black, green, white, brown, red) and with hardness between 50 and 90 Sh°A.
EXSTO Italia has a wide range of Neoprene-based compounds that can be used in compression or injection moulding with hardnesses ranging from 30 to 80 Sh°A.
CO-VULCANISATION RUBBER + METAL
During its activity, EXSTO Italia has specialised in co-vulcanising rubber and metal parts made of iron, stainless steel, aluminium and also plastic parts. We can manufacture products with an external diameter of maximum 850 mm, and we can supply zinc-coated or phosphate-coated metal parts.
Silicone Compounds
EXSTO produces custom parts, both tiny and big dimensions, thanks to our presses that can host moulds up to mm 1000×1600 with 800 ton pression, for a variety of different sectors and applications as diverse our clients are.
We can supply rubber molded parts compliant with the following norms and requirements:
