The unique properties of polyurethane make these blades highly resistant to wear and tear, even under extreme cold, providing a reliable solution for winter maintenance.
POLYURETHANE SNOW PLOW BLADE ADVANTAGES
The advantage of the polyurethane snow plow blade in comparison to a steel one is that they do not damage any elements which may protrude from the road surface, such as pavements, manhole covers and speedbumps.
Our snow plow cutting edges are hard enough to break up packed snow and ice yet soft enough to provide a squeegee clean surface on roads or runways full of slush.
Snow plough wings can be made to client specifications, even in larger sizes: we can provide a maximum length of 3 metres and a height of 250-300 cm, as well as thicknesses from 20 to 60 mm.
Furthermore, we manufacture other devices for snow removal such as shock aborbers for salt trucks, protections, springs, pads; and also dampers for ploughshares to clean footpaths and mudguards.
* A Snow Plow (also snowplow, snowplough, or snow plough) is a device intended for mounting on a vehicle (typically a tractor, trucks or an off-road car), used for removing snow and ice from outdoor surfaces. Snowplows can also be mounted on rail cars or locomotives to clear railway tracks.
